ABOUT US
Sue Barbato, Host and Producer of Dancing Dog Events, has an extensive history in the music business as well as advocating for the welfare of animals in San Diego County. Her career began on the performance end, as a part-time vocalist in the Boston area. She later moved to Los Angeles and earned executive roles in marketing, sales and video promotion for labels Enigma Records/Capitol Records, BMG Entertainment, MCA Records and Navarre Distribution (independent record label distribution.) She ran a a jazz label under the Enigma Records/Capitol Records umbrella and later worked for The Music Network (Music Licensing) in San Diego. Her long career in the music industry has given her a "musical ear" of many genres that stretches over the years, right up until today! Her first experience at a Silent Disco began as a festival attendee and it stayed in her memory as one of the most joyful music moments she had ever enjoyed! It was a fabulous escape from the daily stress of life! Outside of her professional work, Barbato had spent years rescuing dogs from the San Diego County shelters as a Co-founder with The Dog Squad Rescue, a non profit 501(c)-3 animal rescue organization. Fast forward to today and the need to host Silent Disco parties while helping our animal welfare groups became an attractive and obvious next chapter! That is how Dancing Dog Events was born!
Fun fact: Our "logo dog" was modeled after "Sally", now a happily rescued dog from the San Diego County Shelter!

"I honestly didn't know what to expect, but the silent disco ended up being one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time. Being able to switch between different music channels kept the energy going all night, and it was hilarious seeing everyone dancing and singing along to completely different songs. The headphones were super high quality with crystal-clear sound and really comfortable to wear for hours. It created such a fun, upbeat atmosphere and made the party feel unique and memorable.
